Hi friends, I hope you are doing fine, Today I will teach you about GPS Library for Proteus. A step by step Guide about the installation and usage of GPS Library for Proteus. I tried to make it simple and easy for better understanding.

In order to start working with the GPS Library for Proteus, you need to Download it. You can download it from the link given below.

Download GPS Library for Proteus ISIS

  • After the completion of download, Unzip the file and you will find these 3 files

  1. HEX

Now, Copy and Paste these files in to your Libraries folder (On a location where Proteus is installed)

Note:

For Proteus 7 Professional,

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional\LIBRARY

For Proteus 8 Professional,

 C:\ProgramData\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 8 Professional\Data\LIBRARY

  • After copying these files, Execute Proteus Software, If you are already running it, then close it and execute again.

  • After that, Go to Components List and search GPS Module and Put it into the Workspace.

  • All you have to do now is to paste the file GpsTEP.hex into Program Files.

  • This GpsTEP.HEX record is fundamental for this model because it adds the GPS Functionality in the Model.

  • After Placing the GpsTEP.hex file into the Programs , Your GPS module is up and ready to be fit in the circuit.

  • In order to check the working of GPS Module, we will add Serial Monitor in it.

  • Outline a little circuit as appeared in underneath figure:
