Bluetooth Library for Proteus

Hi friends, I hope you are doing fine, today I will share knowledge about Bluetooth Library for Proteus. A complete Step by Step guide about installation and usage of Bluetooth Library for Proteus ISIS. To make it simple and easy to understandable, I will explain it with an example.

  • In order to start with Bluetooth Library for Proteus, You need to download it first. You can download it from the link given Below.

Download Bluetooth Library for Proteus ISIS

  • After Downloading Extract the File and you will get a folder Containing two files:

  • IDX

  • LIB

  • Now Copy (CTRL+C) and Paste (CTRL+V) it into Library folder in Proteus ISIS. (on installation Path)


Proteus 7 Professional,

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional\LIBRARY

Proteus 8 Professional

C:\ProgramData\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 8 Professional\Data\LIBRARY

  • After transferring these files into Proteus Software, Close the Proteus software (if you are already using it) and then Execute it again and browse for Bluetooth

    After that Select the both modules and put them into the workspace.

    As, I mentioned earlier, We just used basic TX and RX pins.

  • Therefore, Only these two Pins are working.

  • In order to see its working, Lets design a Circuit that will transfer instruction b/w these two Bluetooth Modules.

  • Here is a simple Circuit Design

  • If you click on HC-05 Module, it will popup a window.

  • Choose COM1 for first HC05 module and COM2 for second HC05 module.

  • COM1 and COM2 ought to be practically associated,
